Benchmarking Exercise
Assessments that are custom-developed need to undergo an internal validity
check and be benchmarked before being administered to the population it
is intended for. In order to develop specific benchmarks, Eduquity administers
the online test on a sample population of the role-holders within the
organization. The data is subjected to a statistical analysis for benchmarking
purposes and also for arriving at cut-offs. This also helps in discerning
difficulty levels in domain-based and skill-based tests, making the tests more
robust and scientifically valid. In addition, the benchmarking exercise is
periodically repeated to account for organizational and process dynamics.
