Management Team

Mr R Suri Menon, COO , Eduquity, has over 27 years of multi-functional experience in reputed Indian companies. This includes over six years of senior management experience as Head of Human Resource Management functions.

An MBA and a diploma holder in training and development, Mr Menon has hands-on expertise in the conceptualization, design and implementation of HR systems and processes. He has worked in companies such as the Steel Authority of India, ITI and Kirloskar Electric. Prior to joining Eduquity, Mr Menon was Head, Human Resources at Bell Softtech Limited.

In his assignments, Mr. Menon has been directly involved in all aspects of Human Resources Management. This included manpower analysis and planning; setting up processes and systems for selection and recruitment, designing and implementing Training, Appraising performance, Reward and recognition, packaging Compensation, and implementing organizational development initiatives.

At ITI Ltd., Mr Menon was the lead facilitator for conducting over 30 role analysis and role clarity workshops. Here, he was also involved in the organizational restructuring exercise. He introduced the concept of role analysis at Kirloskar Electric where he designed the concept and trained managers. Mr Menon was trained to conduct role analysis Workshops by Dr Udai Pareek, a well known organizational consultant and former Professor of Organizational Behavior at IIM, Ahmedabad. As Head of Training at both, ITI Ltd and Kirloskar Electric, he managed the Corporate Training function and was directly responsible for its implementation.

At the start-up software company Bells Softech Ltd., he was responsible for developing and institutionalizing HR policies and processes; he was responsible for managing people-related issues under ISO-9000; and structuring the organization, both for its US subsidiary and its India Development center.

He has been responsible for initiating, designing and implementing the Employee Stock Option Plan for Bells Softech and Eduquity Career Technologies. His purpose as Vice President, HR and Consulting and Development, Eduquity is to, " Develop and guide a pool of talented and committed individuals who can deliver unique, value-based solutions to our clientele in the area of human resource assessment."

Mr Menon is also a resource person/facilitator in the areas of Communication Skills, Team-building, Leadership and Human Resources Management. He has served as a visiting faculty at St.Joseph's College of Business Administration, Bangalore, for five years. Mr Menon has been associated for more than a decade with Round Table -- a voluntary social service organization -- in community service work and HRD of its members.

Mr Ramesh Kumar B, CTO, Eduquity, has over 26 years of experience in the areas of System Analysis, Design and Project Management. A graduate in Electrical Engineering, Mr Ramesh Kumar's earlier assignments included that of Project Manager, Ampersand Software and Manager, EDP, BHEL.

At Eduquity, Mr Ramesh Kumar is responsible for all IT related issues.

Mr Ramesh Kumar worked in the Electronics Division of BHEL, Bangalore, as Manager - EDP. As part of the MIS team here, he was involved in the design, development and implementation of MRP and MRP II systems. A member of the core team for New Technologies, he underwent SAP training and conducted a detailed feasibility study for implementing SAP.

Mr Ramesh Kumar is the recipient of more than 15 productivity awards at BHEL. In his various capacities in the EDP department, he was instrumental in setting up and improving systems & processes from planning to production ,including quality.

Mr Ramesh Kumar has contributed more than 30 articles on different technologies for various Magazines and has published a book "Engineers Yellow Pages". This book is basically for final-year engineering students and attempts to give them an insight into the various avenues they can explore on completing their course.

His hobbies include sharing information and exploring new technologies. "Nothing is impossible," he insists, and his goal is to ensure online tests with Zero failure.
